Laurel Business Institute was established in 1985 to meet the employment and training needs of communities by preparing individuals for jobs that do and will continue to exist. Now, Laurel Institutes is bringing decades of experience in education to Fort Mill, South Carolina!

Laurel Institute of Technology in Fort Mill, SC offers a 16-month Cardiovascular Technology diploma program. Students in this program are trained in the performance of non-invasive testing such as EKG (ECG) and Cardiac Sonography/Echo procedures which provide valuable recorded data utilized in cardiac medical evaluation. Cardiovascular Technicians perform diagnostic, administrative and clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
Graduates can work with medical professionals in cardiac catheterization laboratories, cardiac surgery, electrocardiography/stress laboratories, or echocardiography departments.
Laurel is excited to offer flexible scheduling for all our students! Our daytime courses will be offered Monday - Thursday from 8 AM - 5 PM and our evening courses are offered from 5:30 - 10:00 PM.
